TUB RUNNER

ELIGIBLE FOR ATTENDANCE BONUS. BONUS PAID ON A WEEKLY, MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, AND YEARLY BASIS.

MUST ROTATE EVERY 2 WEEKS ON FOLLOWING ROTATING SCHEDULE: 7AM-3PM; 3PM-11PM, AND 11PM-7AM.

IN NEAR FUTURE MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 12 HOUR SHIFTS.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for transfer of corn through pumping system to steep tubs. To maintain drier hoppers at a constant level and monitor washes throughout each run.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
• Maintain all tubs at a constant steep temperature and water level by using a temperature probe to ensure established range for steep temperature; calibrating probe twice per shift; and by ensuring there is enough water in the steep tub to cover the corn.
• Maintain drier hoppers at a constant level by setting tub belt speed consistent with drier output.
• Maintain area in a sanitary and neat manner by cleaning catwalks and handrails; and by washing trough twice each shift.
• Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management such as working hours and general cleaning.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.
• Fluent in English and/or Spanish.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

§ Physical Requirements: Climbing, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, vision, and repetitive motions.

§ Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.

§ Environmental Conditions: Both inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, noise, vibration, and hazard.

§ Able to work in heights
