What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pickup and Delivery Driver position at B and H Delivery Inc. (FedEx Contractor)?
We are looking for one responsible delivery drivers to distribute products/packages promptly, safely and efficiently. You will represent our company and FedEx in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid drivers license. Must be able to drive a bigger delivery vehicle. Must be able to lift, bend and squat multiple times a day.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Collect payments
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Proven working experience of at least 1 year as a Delivery Driver
- Valid professional driver’s license
- Ability to operate vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations in the last 3 years
- High school degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.75 per hour
