The Accounting Assistant is an integral part of our finance team, assisting with various accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy and compliance of our financial records. You must be detail-oriented with a dedication to accuracy. You will possess an outstanding work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile. Must have the talent to create and manipulate spreadsheets in Excel as well as the ability to work with Microsoft Office Products, Adobe, and Sage. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Service billing
- Print & file job billing
- Update contract cost summaries & WIP with billing information
- Print & file billing releases
- Print & file updated contract cost summaries
- Send jobs billed & paid jobs lists to AP
- Send paid AR releases to clients
- Update contract cost summaries & WIP with payment information
- Create, print, and file paid AR releases
- Create monthly AR Jobs Billed & Paid reports
- Check Assembly
- Post deposits & Square payments
- Verify material invoices are booked to job accounts
- Upload invoices to Work Orders (WO)
- Print vendor Proof of Delivery (POD)
- Bank runs
- Vendor Reconciliation
- Enter, and upload to WO, Home Depot receipts
- Request supplier releases for jobs billed monthly
- Send & save supplier releases
- Service collections
- Service client billing requirement maintenance
HOURS
- The work schedule is negotiable at time of hire. Occasional overtime may be required.
