Salesman for Springfield Region (Western Territory)

Responsibilities:

Equipment Sales & Services: including forklifts, batteries, chargers, SMO's, Parts, PM's, warranty, etc.

Will be working directly with current customers, as well as taking every opportunity to create a new customer base. Building great customer relationships and going the extra mile, is key to our business.

Daily interaction with customers required, including regular face-to-face meetings with customers, as possible, phone calls, and email communication.

Should be strong in negotiation and customer service skills.

Understand the quoting process, creating a sales orders, ability to effectively communicate with Sales Manager, Sales Coordinator, Service Dept. and other key personnel. Especially in regards to customer expectations, understanding and informing customers of our processes, including: ordering, current inventory, payment, financing, shipping & delivery.

Train on current equipment and products, in order to be knowledgeable and better able to understand and service our customers. Provide or research necessary information in order to properly educate our customers, in order for them to make an informed decisions on purchasing the most sensible product for their particular application.

Involvement in monthly sales meetings and other training as required.

Requirements:

Outgoing individual.

Great verbal and written communication skills.

Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.

Strong work ethic.

Well organized with an aptitude in problem solving and critical thinking.

Ability to work independently with integrity, as well as a part of a team.

Promote great customer service, both internally and externally

Great time management skills.

Proficient in English

Previous equipment sales a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
