Warehouse Maintenance Coordinator Job
Overview:
The
Maintenance Coordinator serves as the first point-of-contact for B&H employees
for any maintenance issue. The Coordinator
is responsible for handling company’s maintenance hotline via phone &
e-mail. The Warehouse maintenance coordinator must document incoming issues and hand it over to the appropriate Maintenance personnel (Technician, Mechanic, etc.) In addition, the Warehouse Maintenance
Coordinator is responsible for notifying employees of the status of their request
as needed.Essential Responsibilities:

Receive
emergency and non-emergency calls from B&H employees in each location
·
Use
radio, phone or computer to send Warehouse Maintenance personnel to appropriate locations
·
Prioritize work order requests according to urgency and importance and follow up to ensure they are
closed/completed
·
Respond
to issues promptly and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments
·
Provide
Work Order reports to the Facilities Manager and Department Directors/Managers
as requested
·
Provide
customer service to employees concerning status of maintenance request
·
Follow-up
on purchase requests needed to complete Work Orders Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
·
Good oral and written skills
·
Ability to communicate clearly with management
·
Strong customer service skills
·
Ability to multitask and work in a very busy work environment
·
Strong organizational skills
·
Ability to learn and use applicable software/programs, Prior Dispatcher experience preferred Scheduled Hours: Sunday 9am-6pm; Monday-Thursday 3:45pm-11:45pm
