eCommerce Listing Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The eCommerce Listing Supervisor will oversee and assist department employees in the performance of their job duties, which primarily revolves around creating and reviewing auctions across the B-Stock platform.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises a team of Listings Services employees whose focus primarily revolves around creating and reviewing auctions across the B-Stock platform
• Balances the workload and portfolios of employees for both immediate, short-term, and long-term business needs
• Accountable for effective prioritization while managing multiple deliverables and timelines in a fast-pace, high-stakes environment
• Motivates and inspires team daily towards completion of department and company initiatives
• Oversees daily business operations across the platform ensuring client SLAs are upheld
• Leads employee hiring while proactively forecasting staffing needs and handling tasks related to voluntary & involuntary employee departures
• Conducts monthly 1:1 meetings with direct reports to assess employee performance
• Proactively identifies employee growth opportunities and facilitates improvement plan
• Routinely produces department and employee performance reports
• Monitors employee fidelity to departmental policies & best practices, including marketplace maintenance & documentation, accurate employee time tracking, high-quality service, etc.
• Manages expectations with internal and external business partners, communicating proactively on progress and setbacks
• Proactively identifies and leads process improvement initiatives
• Identifies and executes on opportunities to establish, update or improve departmental procedures
• Serves as an active resource in cross-departmental initiatives

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong Leadership with 4 years experience managing a team in a supervisory role
• Exercises discretion and good judgment when making decisions, and effectively communicate direction and outcomes
• Strong relationship building, diplomacy, and decision-making skills with ability to think creatively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide leadership, proactive problem resolution, and operational improvement while balancing department expectations and company interests
• Experience working in a fast-paced and multi-deadline driven environment
• Proficient knowledge in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, vlookups)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Experience with data analysis software such as Tableau and Metabase
• Advanced knowledge in Excel and Google Sheets (macros, data visualization & analysis, etc.)
• Background in online eCommerce marketplaces or B2B experiences such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, or Woocommerce
