About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer to join our Control Team of regulatory subject matter experts (SME), supporting the Auto businesses. In this role, you will: Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies Lead Control Management project or virtual teams Required Qualifications: 5 years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Strong knowledge and experience in risk and control identification methods and performing assessments. Strong working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and applicable Corporate Policy requirements in order to identify areas of risk and issues for the LOB and/or provide credible challenge. Knowledge of Privacy rules and regulations. Ability to collaborate at all levels of organization but also influence to ensure risks are appropriately mitigated in a timely and efficient manner. Strong, proactive, individual contributor and ability to work with a high degree of autonomy. Exhibits resourcefulness, leveraging information and data from multiple sources to effectively assess risk. Ability to create, implement and maintain effective repeatable processes. Demonstrated application of effective credible challenge and likewise, the ability to successfully withstand credible challenge of work product. Ability to effectively analyze, draw conclusions and make sound recommendations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong sense of urgency/results oriented. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to ensure high quality output from self and others. Job Expectations: Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved job posting location above three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
