Summary
The Compensation Analyst will assist HR leadership with designing and managing compensation programs for the organization. This position will administer the annual compensation planning, promotional, merit increases, and bonuses in alignment with the compensation philosophy and strategy. The Compensation Analyst will be expected to analyze data and use the results to consult with management and HR team members to assist the company in attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent. #Hybrid
Specific Job Functions
- Administer the annual compensation cycle for bonuses, incentives, and merit to include approval workflows.
- In partnership with Finance assist in the projection of bonuses, incentives, and merit payouts.
- Ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable wage laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Perform continuous research about emerging trends, issues, and best practices. Provides local market intelligence on compensation and salary posture.
- Design, development and administration of new salary structures and compensation models.
- Participate in various annual compensation surveys to stay abreast of market trends and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Works with managers and HR team members to create or update descriptions as needed.
- Conduct job evaluations and participate in FLSA job evaluation reviews to determine exemption status and recommend grade assignments.
- Collaborate with managers and HR team members to provide market pricing requests on new positions, promotions, transfers, and other job or organizational changes in line with the company’s compensation philosophy & strategy.
- Provide ongoing support to the Manager, Total Rewards and CHRO on a variety of projects, equity, and incentive program, and preparation of compensation committee meeting materials.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Must reside in the Louisiana, #Louisiana
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or a related field is required.
- Four years of experience can be used in lieu of degree.
- Four (4) years of board-based compensation experience is required.
- Incentive & equity compensation experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills is required.
- Must have the ability to identify, evaluate, interpret, and organize data.
- Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated focus on client service and business acumen.
