Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and documentation.
- Good understanding of architectural drawings, floor plans, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of furniture and interior design principles is a plus.
- Prior experience in conducting building surveys or working on space planning projects is desirable but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to travel to project sites and conduct on-site surveys as required.
- Strong visual and spatial awareness, with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality
Job Description
- Review architectural drawings and blueprints provided to understand the existing floor plans.
- Visit project sites to survey existing buildings and gather essential information related to updated floor plans including both offices and systems furniture layouts.
- Accurately measure and document room dimensions, wall heights, and any other relevant spatial data and furniture layouts.
- Identify the existing space allocated to each department, staff counts.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop detailed and accurate CADD versions of updated floor plans, incorporating existing building features, furniture layouts, and functional requirements.
- Work closely with other team members including architects, interior designers, and project managers to understand goals, constraints, and objectives.
