Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the visual and hands-on inspection of bridge structures.
- Document bridge conditions using digital photography and field data collection.
- Perform FCM inspections of service bridges at various lock and dam sites.
Qualifications:
- NICET Level II Certification in Bridge Safety Inspection (required).
- SPRAT or IRATA Level I or II Certification for Rope Access (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge inspection.
- FHWA-NHI-130055 Bridge Inspection Certification or refresher course NHI-130053.
- Experience in rope access operations and fall protection systems.
- Ability to work as part of a close-knit team in field settings.
- Familiarity with bridge inspection techniques and FCM structures.
- Strong attention to detail and experience with safety regulations (EM 385-1-1).
