Open to the right candidate being REMOTE**The Sr. Director, Replenishment and Supply Planning within the Bob's Discount Furniture organization will provide leadership for the replenishment and supply planning function with primary focus on driving optimization of flow of goods end to end through the supply chain. The leader will develop best in class processes to improve PO creation, optimize inbound flow, and better integrate with vendors, carriers, and fulfillment centers to drive improvements in domestic, landed, and import supply chain costs and performance, inventory availability and service levels, ordering logic, and inbound flow optimization Build relationships with world class service partners, drive a culture of efficiency and compliance. Establish a reputation for excellence in supply chain management and foster a culture of continuous improvement, delivering distinctive financial results. In addition, this position is expected to play a key role in leading cross functional initiatives to capitalize on areas of growth and profit improvement opportunities and is expected to work collaboratively across the organization. The position will be reporting to VP Replenishment and Inventory Management and will managing a team of ~ 15 Job Responsibilities: Provide analytical and strategic thought leadership and ensure use of robust methodologies for all strategic replenishment activities. Owns the development and implementation of best practices in vendor performance management and outlook to improve effectiveness and efficiencies in Supply management across all flow channels (imports, domestic, and landed) Owns the quantification of strategic replenishment initiatives and metric tracking with the primary focus of end-to-end optimization of flow of goods across the supply chain with the overarching goal of driving high in stock of products to meet and grow customer demand. Develop and implement tactical replenishment plans, processes, and systems for the purchasing and replenishment function to support current state business and financial objectives. Develop and manage a future state purchasing/ replenishment and supply planning function, inclusive of organization, processes, and systems that scales to support anticipated business growth and changing market dynamics Build effective Business partnerships to create and maintain a comprehensive strategic supply plan outlook. Creates and drives a strategic plan to optimize end to end flow of goods through the supply chain with the goal of driving process improvements across key supply chain partners (suppliers, logistics, DC operations etc) that improves the accuracy and speed of delivery of products through the supply chain. Build partnerships and programs with supply base to drive end-to-end cost and performance optimization. Identify and implement initiatives to innovate and collaborate with suppliers. Ensure suppliers perform to contracted obligations and stakeholder expectations. Identify root causes of non-compliance and drive to efficient resolutions. Acts as a Change Leader, playing an integral part in evolving the organizations understanding of supply and vendor management by engaging and educating stakeholders on vision and strategy. Helps message to stakeholders the appropriate sequencing, investment, and results to improve product flow across our organization. Collaborates with inbound logistics and DC operations team to integrate the supply plan with the labor/capacity planning process to drive an efficient and optimized flow of goods across the supply chain. Collaborates with IT partners to build end to end supplier collaboration tools/applications to driven enhanced visibility and exchange of information between Bob’s and its suppliers with the key goal of driving alignment between replenishment and suppliers’ operation plan/constraints. Works closely with Inventory Optimization team in ensuring replenishment strategy is aligned to Inventory strategy with primary focus on ensuring availability of supply and ensuring Inventory goals and Bob’s customer demand are met. Leads monthly/bi-weekly meetings with cross functional team/leaders to socialize the future supply plan and gather alignment on end-to-end execution of the plan. Leads and in charge of driving key performance metrics as it relates to supply plan including supplier on time performance, accuracy of PO receipts. Engages as needed with key supply partners (suppliers, inbound logistics, DC operators) as needed to drive improvements to the KPI. Directs the BI and analytics team to create reporting to provide visibility on existing supply plan and highlight constraints/drivers of deviation from plan. Works further on creating a strategic plan to address the root cause and collaborates with the owners across the supply chain to stay to the plan. Required Competencies: Bachelor’s degree required, preference for Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain; MBA preferred 7-10 years of relevant supply chain management experience, ideally in omni-channel and retail environments Experience managing the holistic supply chain network, including replenishment, supply planning, inventory management, and supplier performance management. Experience leading purchasing, replenishment, and related analytics in a retail or consumer products supply chain of appropriate size, structure, and complexity; Strategic experience building process and organizational capability on purchasing / replenishment supply planning and supplier performance. Experience working cross functionally with Planning, Logistics, Distribution, Merchandising, and Store Operations functions to improve end-to-end supply chain performance Strong project management skills, including stakeholder‐, timeline‐, and meeting management skills; demonstrated excellence in managing internal customers. A track record of team building and organizational development; able to hold employees accountable for results; able to recognize when education and training is needed. Track record of data-driven decision making, leveraging ERP, MRP, WMS, and TMS systems to drive performance improvements. Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences. A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others; a natural bias for action and ability to deal with ambiguity.
