Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Team to service our expanding entity client network. A successful Audit Manager will enjoy working directly with clients, enthusiastically participates in their own growth as well as the growth of the firm, and leading and coaching peers and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with audits, reviews, compilations and other assurance services for various business and not-for-profit clients
- Proactively manage client relationship and communications internally and externally to identify risks, solve issues, and deliver accurate results.
- Review and assess financial statements for accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Provide guidance on tax regulations and internal audits
- Prepare reports detailing audit findings and recommendations
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related filed is required
- 5 years public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations
- CPA license is preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- CCH or ProSystem Tax and Engagement software experience is a plus
- Willing to develop new skills outside of comfort zone
- Willing to learn entity and individual business returns is a plus
