We are seeking a motivated, savvy and detail-oriented full-time copywriter to meet our clients’ needs for personality-infused sales copy in a fast-paced work environment. You will be responsible for creating compelling copy for our clients and all segments of the Company and supporting our team of writers and editors. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to ensure the agency produces top-quality communications and sales copy for our clients.

To excel in this role, you will have experience in developing and editing content, as well as excellent communication, project management and organizational skills. You will be extremely meticulous in identifying and correcting errors in punctuation, spelling, grammar and overall content flow. Also, you will have an in-depth understanding of how to rely on “credible resources” to confirm and validate the accuracy of facts, such as dates, names and statistics.

Responsibilities:

• Craft compelling copy for retainer and one-off clients that adheres to our company standards and style guide
• Immerse yourself in the BAAB Writing and Marketing brand and culture
• Address copywriting-specific, expert-level client questions according to the Company’s standard level agreement (SLA)
• Support the writing and editing needs of the Lead Copywriter
• Collaborate with the business development coordinator and other team members to produce copy for internal projects on an as-needed basis
• Possess the ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
• Stay abreast of the latest copywriting trends and content best practice
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices

Requirements:

• Remote role, with a preference for candidates residing in Atlanta, GA
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications or related field
• 1 years of experience in copywriting and/or content marketing preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced project management skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Google Docs, online project management software and Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
