Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with expertise in MEP. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing electrical systems for a range of projects. Your contributions will directly impact the success and functionality of MEP systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis: Collaborate with the project team to develop electrical systems' design, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Perform load calculations and analysis to optimize system performance.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical designs and installations adhere to relevant local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Technical Expertise: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering for MEP projects.
- Project Management: Manage and coordinate electrical aspects of projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into MEP designs.
- Client Interaction: Maintain strong communication with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in MEP electrical design and engineering.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and familiarity with relevant engineering codes and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
