The Talent Acquisition Coordinator performs a variety of activities relating to the coordination and logistics for Talent Acquisition for staff, temporary, and seasonal hiring, as well as full cycle recruitment. Specifically responsible for coordinating the recruitment process including, Workday positions and requisitions; placement of external advertising; interview scheduling; references and background checks; assisting new hires with on-boarding paperwork; and working with the HRIS Junior Analyst as it relates to Workday data entry. WHAT YOU WILL DO Creates and submits positions for temporary roles into Workday as well as creates and submits requisitions for all staff, temporary, and seasonal roles into Workday. Tracks the business process to ensure timely routing; works with members of the business process to expedite the approvals; and monitors the Staffing Updates/President’s Council informed list and Workday Staffing allocations to ensure all required steps in the request process are fully completed. Posts and advertises all positions on the Babson career page and any external advertising sites that might yield a qualified diverse candidate pool. Assists Talent team with sourcing passive candidates using sites like Indeed and LinkedIn; conducts initial outreach to gauge interest in careers at Babson. Assists the Talent team with interview scheduling and logistics; may schedule campus/digital interviews for search committees and hiring managers. Responsible for all union hiring, promotions, job changes as per the union contract. Sources, recruits and hires administrative candidates to build and maintain the administrative temporary pool. Continuously replenish a bench of qualified temporary employees that are ready to be hired as needs arise. Conducts reference checks via Skill Survey by entering candidate information and selecting the appropriate behavioral based survey. Drafts the offer letter via Workday and assists with any inquiries for accessing the candidate portal. Launches the background check and any other pre-employment screening as determined by the position. Tracks and monitors the ‘hire’ business process in Workday to ensure timely routing. Works with members of the approval business process to facilitate the routing so tasks such as email account creation and onboarding are completed prior to a new hire first day. Responsible for managing the unpaid internship processing including but not limited to managing internship requirements and uploading to Workday. Coordinates on-boarding paperwork and ensures that the I-9 is fully completed before any person starts work. Holds temporary onboarding sessions for benefits eligible temporary or seasonal Employees. Acts as the point person for all staffing agencies. Participates in the interview process as needed as a growth and development opportunity. Serves as the back-up for the HR Office Administrator providing coverage as needed. Performs HR project management as assigned and participates in campus events on an as needed basis. Makes recommendations for process improvements to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed. Responsible for self-initiating learning new skills and developing within one’s area. Assumes additional responsibilities as required. YOUR TEAM WILL INCLUDE N/A WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED Associate’s Degree (in related discipline preferred) A minimum of 2-3 years of human resources recruitment coordination experience required. Must have a proven track record of promoting and adhering to client excellence and recovery, high standards of professional behavior, code of conduct, compassion, and team approach. Must be self-directed to complete responsibilities in effective collaboration with other members of the campus. Must demonstrate flexibility in face of changing work environment, adjusting work schedule accordingly. Must demonstrate and sustain dependability, reliability, and have interpersonal savvy and composure. Must have strong recruitment sourcing and marketing skills utilizing the internet, social networking, and niche sites with a strong emphasis on diversity candidate acquisition. Must be knowledgeable in the use of, and tracking of, data for routine report analysis. Must have the ability to multi-task. Must be able to work independently with minimum direction as well as the ability to collaborate with the HR team; and ability to successfully work with all constituencies. Must have knowledge of state and federal employment laws and ability to apply principles appropriately. Ability to maintain a high-level professional behavior, integrity and trust with client base, employees and team members; must also be receptive to suggestion and continually seeks to improve performance. Must have advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK All Babson College faculty and staff authorized to work on campus must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any appropriate boosters.
