About the position

Join our team at Babylon Micro-Farms as a Lead Supply Chain Analyst! We're seeking a professional with 3 years of relevant experience to optimize our supply chain operations. As a pivotal member of our team, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to forecast needs, oversee procurement, manage inventory, and enhance vendor relationships. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and forecast future supply chain needs.
  • Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • Manage the farm Bill of Materials (BOM) and make adjustments to item material planning.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and monitoring vendor performance.
  • Manage inventory needs to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory levels.
  • Maintain and implement inventory control strategies and conduct regular audits to optimize stock levels.
  • Work with the Logistics team to optimize distribution networks to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain and implement best practices.
  • Assess potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate and maintain 5S audits for inventory storage.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement!

Requirements:

  • 3 years of mid-level supply chain experience, demonstrating progressive responsibilties and growth
  • Good knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and systems
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems for inventory management and planning
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with external suppliers and internal teams
  • Ability to handle quality control processes
  • Proficient in advanced spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) for data analysis, modeling, and reporting
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Salary Range: $70-80k depending on experience
