What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Lead position at Babynov USA LLC?
The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and measuring all operations within a warehouse facility. Develop, implement, and measure standard operating processes within the facility. Work from customer business schedules, develop daily schedules and measure performance to schedules. Coordination with all departments to ensure adequate resources are brought to bear on unit problems, interfacing with company resources and coordinating long range. Position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Knowledge and Skills (Education):

- At least 5 years of related supervisory or management experience in a logistics environment.
Major Accountabilities:
- Establish and maintain warehouse operational infrastructure
- Develop, create and manage the processes and KPIs associated with the shipping and receiving of product to ensuring product integrity and order filling accuracy
- Use interpersonal and communication skills to motivate the work force, relay growth opportunities, drive execution of policies and implement corrective measures if necessary to ensure productivity levels are met.
- Analyze KPIs to develop protocols, policies, forecast employment needs and trends.
- Develop and maintain ISO level operation guidelines and metrics including communication to internal and external customers
- Develop and monitor productivity/performance standards
- Interview and collaborate with HR in the hiring and termination of personnel.
- Protect warehouse staff and employees by creating and enforcing Personal Protective Equipment policies,
- Develop and maintain efficient, cost effective operations layout
- Establish and maintain daily operating schedules
- Coordinate cycle counts/ inventory
- Cost reduction initiatives
- Help facilitate and maintain development of team members and pay for skill program
- Ensure a safe working environment at all times and that employees comply with the use of personal protective equipment and proper precautions
· Participates in long range resource planning in support of identified production and maintenance plans as it relates to logistics and equipment.
· Evaluate and recommends future headcount needs and ways to achieve headcount objectives for the successful operation.
· Coordinates the training and development of employees. Includes identifying development needs, implementing programs as required, carefully monitoring progress and coordinating with HR as required.
· Evaluates process and procedures and makes recommendations to management for Continuous Improvement opportunities. Instills an entrepreneurial spirit within the company, encouraging the same among direct reports.

Physical Demands
This position will be required to sit at a desk, walk, climb, stand for long periods of time, stoop and lift up to 50lbs as necessary. Must be able to work around xray machines and magnetic traps.
Position Type
This is a full-time, hourly position that may require the ability to adjust working hours dependent upon need of the plant.
