As a Mobile engineer, it is your responsibility to deliver astonishing apps and provide support within short timeframes for banks and other financial institutions. You will become part of a continuously transforming environment that influences the banking experience of millions of users around the world.
Meet the Job
You build rock-solid apps that can survive for generations. Together with your Agile team, you maintain and extend the mobile components of the Backbase platform. Developers all over the world will use your code in compiling next-generation mobile apps.
You work on native mobile apps that have a remarkable user experience, are secured according to prevailing standards and are absolutely stunning. You collaborate with the customer support team in creating hot-fixes, boosting the quality of the core product. You will dedicate yourself to testing, checking code quality, reviewing other people’s code and compiling documentation to future-proof our product.
You also train and support development teams remotely, with occasional on-site engagements with the customer when needed. In decision-making processes, you provide guidance with your expert advice. As the mobile expert technician, you take the lead in a project wherever you can, creating roadmaps for new product development and generating a feedback loop from the customers to our R&D department. You also experiment with emerging technologies.
How about You?
- You have around 3 years of experience and developed several apps using Kotlin, of which one for sure is available via Google Play;
- Undoubtedly, your mobile development for Android knowledge combined with excellent code reading techniques is an absolute necessity for this position;
- You enjoy mentoring and assisting other developers in finding solutions to their problems;
- You should be comfortable in a Scrum team, using lean and Agile methodologies;
- Experience in unit testing, continuous integration would be an extra plus;
- You will dedicate yourself to testing, checking codes quality, reviewing other people’s code;
- You are a self-starter and enjoy finding out things for yourself;
- You are ready to engage with a product that will never be finished.
