As Senior Field Marketing Manager, you are a driving force of this digital banking revolution in the USA. You lead the way by defining a marketing strategy that positions Backbase as the thought leader in digital banking and as the innovation partner for banks and credit unions. You will continuously keep Backbase top of mind and drive demand for our solutions. Working remote or from our Boise, ID office you will work closely with the USA leadership and sales team as well as with the Amsterdam HQ marketing team.
Meet the Job
- Go-to-market Strategy - Based on the annual go-to-market strategy and sales plan, you drive the vision, strategy and execution for the USA region, in alignment with your sales leadership peers. You know how to set and hit ambitious targets with a strong execution focused mind-set.
- Campaign Execution - You will design and execute impactful campaigns to drive demand in your region through deeply understanding your key customer segments and driving relevant activities such as commissioned research, webinars, customer conferences, round tables, content partnerships and others.
- Brand Awareness & Thought Leadership - To accelerate our impact in the market, you drive the Backbase PR, awareness, storytelling, thought leadership and brand perception activities to ensure Backbase is top-of-mind and strongly positioned for the target segments you’re focused on winning.
- Demand Generation - you are responsible for driving the demand generation engine of the USA region, optimizing all our PPC efforts as well as engagement and conversion of our website. In doing so, you collaborate with the global team for support.
- Account-based Marketing - you lead integrated Account-based Marketing programs in alignment with the sales leadership to reach their ambitious goals. You know how to drive scalable best-practices into the execution of your team.
- Stakeholder Management - with your stakeholder management skills, you constantly seek strong alignment with regional sales leadership, as well as with your peers, to ensure you’re set up for success.
How about you
- You have 3 years of experience in a role of similar scope of leadership and responsibility. However, a can-do mentality is of more importance than many years of experience;
- You have B2B SaaS experience is essential. Bonus: a deep understanding of the Fintech landscape and ecosystem;
- You bring hands-on experience in Account Based Marketing, preferably for an Enterprise Software Solution;
- You have excellent strategic marketing planning skills, and know how to bring a compelling marketing plan into execution with your team, aligned with the sales teams;
- You have a good understanding and experience with the modern marketing stack, which includes Salesforce, Marketo, LinkedIn and various PPC channels relevant in reaching B2B audiences;
- Proven experience in setting priorities in response to changes in market and strategy and creating/driving a strategic, growth-oriented agenda;
- You are street smart and digital savvy. Proven to be able to do more with less. A true team player, hands-on and self-motivated, able to drive progress and hit deadlines with your team;
- You thrive on working in a fast-paced environment; comfortable working on multiple projects in multiple time zones, while collaborating with multiple cultures;
- You have excellent English speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire, and motivate others. Bi-lingual is a plus (English / Spanish). Bonus: creative and brand experience.
