We are looking for a Store Manager for the new BAD ASS COFFEE OF HAWAII store located in Charleston Square Plaza. This location is set to open mid-September so we are looking to fill this position prior to that time. Looking for an individual that is organized, dedicated, focused, passionate about coffee and the customer service experience.
Job Description:
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall success of the store and positive representation of the BAD ASS COFFEE OF HAWAII brand. This position will be responsible for the management of all employees on staff, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, and providing excellent customer service. Regular tasks will include: making the shift schedule, hiring, training, associate coaching, cafe management, inventory tracking and order placing.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure that all employees are safe and healthy at all times.
- Ensure that all sales and operations are running smoothly.
- Maintain a positive work environment for all team members.
- Train new team members on the business operations and procedures.
- Work closely with principal manager to ensure smooth store operations.
- Develop positive relationships with vendors, customers, and staff.
- Be knowledgeable on product knowledge and sales knowledge.
- Handle any customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or corporate.
Required Skills:
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
- Must have excellent organizational skills to be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Must have excellent math skills to be able to calculate inventory levels, calculate shipping charges, etc..
- Must have excellent customer service skills in order to provide customer information and answers to customers.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in high-pressure situations (e.g., during peak season).
- Coffee experience/knowledge is preferred, however, not required. This position management focused, however coffee knowledge would increase success in the position.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
