What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Badger State Staffing?
Badger State Staffing is seeking a Service Technician for a thriving company located just North of the Green Bay area. As a Service Technician, you will work on different brands of agricultural equipment, to help keep local dairy farms up and running. If you have at least one year of electrical troubleshooting experience and are seeking consistent overtime, we encourage you to apply!
Duties:
- Diagnose, service and/or repair dairy equipment effectively and efficiently
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits
- Service all brands of dairy equipment
- Train customers on proper equipment usage
- Support a rotating on-call schedule
- Review work performed with customer
- Complete necessary paperwork and invoicing after service is completed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a DMV check (local travel required)
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Demonstrated ability to maintain work vehicles, parts, and tools in peak condition
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in following company maintenance procedures and checklists
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
