We are looking for advanced Cyber Enterprise Architects to join a team of Cybersecurity professionals responsible for safeguarding the customer enterprise, develop and maintain tools and systems used to monitor and secure critical information technology (IT) systems.
As a Cyber Enterprise Architect, you will:
- collaborate with system owners and stakeholders to analyze security posture and goals
- develop enterprise architecture required to meet customer needs.
- plan enterprise information security architecture and implementation strategy
- document and update architectural design documents to include all definition and architecture activities
- integrate new or acquired systems and architecture in accordance with the customer's needs and security requirements
- confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to ensure systems and architectures are consistent with the customer's cybersecurity posture and architecture guidelines.
An ideal candidate will,
- translate proposed capabilities into technical requirements
- determine how a security system should work (including its resilience and dependability capabilities) and how changes in conditions, operations, or the environment will affect these outcomes.
- build architectures and frameworks and identify potential flaws to mitigate vulnerabilities
- identify gaps in security architecture and advise customer and program leadership on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.
- evaluate reporting formats, cost constraints, need for security restrictions, and other evaluation factors to determine hardware configuration.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of:
- risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk)
- cybersecurity laws, regulations, policies, and ethics
- cybersecurity principles, threats and vulnerabities, and operational impact of cybersecurity lapses
- computer networking concepts and protocols and network security methodologies
- cloud computing service models such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
- cloud computing deployment models in private, public, and hybrid environments
- cloud computing deployment in on-premises and off-premises environments.
More senior Cyber Enterprise Architects may also,
- Act as primary contact for the prime and/or customer regarding status of ongoing architecture planning, design, and implementation process.
- document how the implementation of a new system or new interface between systems impacts the current and target environment and execute technology integration processes
- direct system architecting and development of documentation.
- assess design feasibility within time and cost constraints of program
- provide expertise on policy and specifications needed to ensure enterprise security posture, address risk/compliance/assurance efforts, and meet security/resilience/dependability requirements across the customer enterpriseRequired Education, Experience, & Skills Education/Equivalent:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline OR equivalent experience and training from the DoD 8140 Training Repository OR 1 of the following certifications:
- CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP
Certification Requirement:
- IAT, IAM, or IASAE Level 3 certification (e.g. CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISM, CCSP, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, GSLC, CCISO)
4 years of experience building architectures and frameworks as Cybersecurity or Solutions Architect
2 years of hands-on experience designing or implementing secure enterprise models.
Experience must include:
- methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting an organization's enterprise information technology (IT) architecture (e.g., Open Group Architecture Framework [TOGAF], Department of Defense Architecture Framework [DoDAF], Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework [FEAF]).
- execute technology integration processes.
- design and integrate hardware and software into enterprise solutions.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP certification
10 years of experience building architectures and frameworks as Cybersecurity or Solutions Architect
