Government Compliance Analyst, Finance

BAE Systems is seeking an analyst to join the Government Compliance team within the Finance organization. Along with ad hoc projects, you will:

• Support financial and operational audits by examining accounting records
• Perform analyses of compliance matters
• Analyze transactional data
• Support compilation of the annual incurred cost submission
• Respond to requests for information from DCMA, DCAA and internal and/or external customers.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• A bachelor’s degree is required
• Strong experience in Government Contracting Finance or Accounting
• Strong analytical skills and above-average Microsoft Suite skills, especially Excel
• Able to gain an understanding of the business process to drive solutions for improvements
• Able to exercise discretion and independent judgement
• Excellent planning, time management, organization and presentation skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Working knowledge of CAS and FAR
• Experience in Program Finance for government contracting
• Familiarity with programming logic, macros, and query writing
• Familiarity with R / RStudio
• Experience with Deltek CostPoint and Cognos
