Job Description
BAE Systems is offering an exciting opportunity to support an important and dynamic Department of Justice customer as a Management Analyst supporting a highly capable and diverse team driving technical innovation. This position primarily serves as analysts and advisors to management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of government programs and operations or the productivity and efficiency of the management of Federal agencies. The MA shall have knowledge of: the substantive nature of agency programs and activities; agency missions, policies, and objectives; management principles and processes; and the analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The MA shall have an understanding of basic budgetary and financial management principles and techniques as they relate to long range planning of programs and objectives. The MA shall have skill in application of fact finding and investigative techniques; oral and written communications; and development of presentations and reports. The MA shall support the unit with other duties as assigned within the scope of work..

SME Level- This is a mid-level of position. At a minimum he individual shall have five (5) plus years of experience as a Logistician.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Experience, Skill, and Education:
- The candidate must have an Active TS Security clearance and willing to undergo a Counter Intelligence Polygraph after onboarding. Candidate will not be considered without it.

SKILL LEVEL- At a minimum, the Management Analyst mid-level, shall have demonstrated experience in:
- Manage annual balance sheet
- Track and report status of requisition packages throughout the acquisition
- Provide logistics support to program management team
- Provide Technical writing skills on document requirements for technical components of supported systems
- Provide customer/contract liaison support
- Provide lifecycle management for components
- Conduct market research/contract liaison support
- Conduct market research on hardware/software
- Prepare pre-award documentation, accruals and other procurement documentation
- Generate requirements documentation for services, supplies, and equipment
- Provide contract administration when required to ensure that services, equipment, and supplies are distributed effectively
- Develop acquisition documentation and requirements documents in preparation for review
- Develop and review program and contract price estimates and life cycle price estimates
- Provide acquisition planning
- Conduct analysis on work procedures and recommends changes to improve the effectiveness of the organization's management
- Provide management with studies on ways to increase efficiency
- Conduct market research for hardware and software
- Familiar with a variety of the IT concepts, practices, and procedures
- Competence in applying knowledge of administrative principles, practices, and techniques
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Provide logistics support
- Provide customer liaison support
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience working on digital forensics technology or related technologies for law enforcement or intelligence community customers is a plus
