Job Description
The successful candidate will have the responsibility of coordinating and expediting the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments supporting the Lead Supply Technician and Project Manager for Performance Based Logistics (PBL), schedules or department supervisors' priorities.
Will confer with the supply liaison, department supervisors, and technicians to determine material required or overdue and to locate material.
Will also arrange the transfer of materials, establishing delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material.
May compile reports of quantity and type of material on hand. May also move or transport material from one department to another, using hand truck, van or industrial lift truck.
The hourly rate for this position is set by the Dept of Labor and is not negotiable. Current rate is $
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St.
Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma and at least one year of related experience
Experience with Performance Based Logistics / warfighter based logistics

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Legacy Inventory Management System (LIMS)
IHMS (material ID number conversion tool)

Pay Information
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
