We are currently searching for a Principal Program Quality Engineer to help drive the product realization teams to success in designing, planning and building competitive, leading edge products for our critical customers. The candidate must be a strong quality leader with exceptional communication skills, credible, and extremely detail oriented in driving issues to closure and managing change in an effective way. Our communication products in Electronic Systems are in demand, so we need the best of the best to join our teams in support of critical customer demand. We need someone who can walk the walk of our Quality First Mindset.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor s Degree in engineering, or a related technical field and 6 years or more relevant experience or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience in Quality improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
- Six Sigma belt certification or equivalent experience
- AS9100 Quality Management Systems experience
- collaborative participation in team product realization in a high-tech arena with strict guidelines
- familiarity with Change Management, Configuration control, ERP, PLM, and Manufacturing Execution Systems
- experience with AS9102 First Article Inspections
- Quality leadership of Program Teams in a collaborative Product Development environment
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Aerospace/Defense industry expertise in a production and development environment preferred
- AS9145 (APQP) experience
- 8D Root Cause and Corrective Action experience
- Software Quality Engineering certified/experienced
