Job Posting for Procurement Specialist at BAE Systems
Job Description Supports the project financial management and reporting of all procurement and acquisition activities associated with purchasing COTS products and tools, cloud computing services, and ODCs. Collects planning information to enable valid cost projections beyond the current reporting period. Duties include sourcing and vetting vendors, negotiating functionality and cost, and presenting options to leadership. Responsible for invoicing for procurements, including the coordination of supporting documentation and DD250 signatures from Agency POCs and the COR. Analyzes cost projections and conducts trend analysis that highlights actionable insights such as future cost savings that could result in funding other mission-critical purchases.
Typical Education & Experience Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education - Minimum 2 years' project management and/or administration experience for large complex IT development and operations.
Preferred Skills and Education - Experience working with senior IT professionals and senior Government Stakeholders to support communications, collaboration, and action planning.
