Marketing Operations Specialist
The Marketing Operations Specialist will support a single Realtor with a primary focus on building and maintaining positive client, consumer, sphere of influence, and referral source interactions. This position will be tasked with ensuring consistent, high-quality communications and marketing that reflect the reputation and brand of the Realtor, strengthen relationships, and increase the opportunity for making connections to capture future business. The ideal candidate would have an interest in developing a career in real estate.
Duties will include, but may not be limited to the following efforts:
QUARTERLY
- Planning and implementing a ‘Pop-Bys’ program including proposing items based on budget, acquiring items, prep, assembly, and delivery of items.
- Assist with the planning and logistics of 3 client appreciation events throughout the year.
MONTHLY
- Customizing, preparing and sending communications such as a monthly newsletter (hard copy and electronic) and other direct mail or email pieces. This will include coordination with outside resources such as graphic designers and printers.
- Overseeing the schedule of client gifts and referral gifts during or after the real estate transaction.
- Maintaining and regularly updating and communicating about various giveaways to clients such as the LoLo (Locals Supporting Locals) program and realtor’s Gifts Gratitude program.
WEEKLY
- Establish and maintain a correspondence card program. Acquire & prepare cards for Realtor’s signature and send to clients and connection network including Thank you, celebratory cards, and other cards). Program will include monitoring social media for opportunities to send cards or items to past or potential clients and referral sources.
- Updating standard documents and templates (Google Documents, Word, Excel)
- Creating, assembling, and maintaining inventory of Buyer Folders, Seller Folders, and mailing/delivering as necessary.
- Posting certain content to social media platforms directly plus providing additional content to outside social media vendors for their posting.
- Maintenance of the main client databases (Excel & Realvolve)
- Other related duties as assigned.
The Marketing Operations Specialist must be highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to complete tasks accurately and on deadline, have great communication skills in all forms (email, text, social media, and verbal), the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Comfort with a variety of software applications, web-based tools, and various social media platforms is essential. Much of the work can be done remotely with flexible working hours. Access to transportation to make marketing deliveries and coordinate events is required. Knowledge of the local Northwest Suburban Chicago area will be valued.
The position will require approximately 15-20 hours a week with a salary range of $18-$20 per hour. This is strictly a part time position with no benefits but would allow the opportunity for mentorship. To apply, please include a resume, cover letter, references, and contact information.
