The Product Marketing Specialist supports product lines in developing marketing plans, playbooks, creating product marketing materials, executing campaigns, preparing for events, and conducting other activities aligned with the product and segment marketing strategies. With input from SMEs and marketing and communications managers, this individual will support content development, new product/service launches, and branding activities to drive awareness and lead generation. S/he will be expected to manage marketing projects, campaigns, and third-party vendors.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development and execution of product marketing and communications strategies, playbooks, and launch plans for product lines and product segments
- Collaborating with subject matter experts, product managers, and product marketing team to develop messaging, create quality content, and plan campaigns
- Managing development, design, and update of collateral and materials working with the Creative Services team
- Collaborating with the extended communications and product marketing team from Events, Digital, and Creative Services to ensure effective execution
- Leveraging data to monitor the success of campaigns and suggests changes and improvements when necessary
- Supporting the coordination of virtual or live events
- Developing case histories and coordinates outsourcing with external vendors and agencies
- Managing rebranding projects
- Generating content for social media (LinkedIn and YouTube)
- Modeling the Baker Hughes core values (Grow, Collaborate, Lead, Care) and operate according to the Baker Hughes Code of Conduct
- Conducting other duties as assigned
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college
- 3-5 years related experience in a marketing, communications, or media design role supporting B2B businesses
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Google analytics, LinkedIn, Yammer, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, etc)

- Demonstrated experience managing marketing projects
- Experience in the oil and gas or energy industry
- Good communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
