What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Coordinator position at Baker Tankhead?
Baker Tankhead, Inc. is looking to add a safety coordinator to our team. The ideal candidate has experience in a safety role within the steel manufacturing/fabrication industry. Candidates must be okay working outside in the heat, rain and/or cold and a noisy environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining/Updating the company's Accident Procedures
- Investigating accidents
- Insuring proper use of PPE for all employees at all times
- Providing new hire and continued safety training for all personnel including daily and monthly safety topics and meetings
- Forklift trainings
- Hazardous material trainings
- OSHA Compliance
