Description

$1,000 Sign On Bonus 

AND

Additional Retention Bonus

to be paid out over the remainder of 2023

Balance Autism is looking for an Administrative Assistant to coordinate office administrative activities of Balance Autism to provide services in our children's clinic and community program!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the health and safety needs of the person(s) served are met
  • Manage reception area: including greeting visitors, answering phones, and relaying messages
  • Manage department specific training, including preparation of materials, communication of attendance, and entry of training records into training tracking system
  • Check payer eligibility monthly for all children funded through M-ABA for Childrens Services
  • Responsible for inventorying and ordering office and programming supplies for site
  • Sort, process and distribute mail
  • Communicate professionally with legal representatives, families and allied professionals
  • Manage credit card check out system for site
  • Provide review of progress notes, service notes, and log sheets and maintain log of Progress Note errors
  • Provide tracking/trending report for incident reporting
  • Distribute ITP reports and other pertinent documents
  • Updates person served, employee databases and electronic systems as necessary for site
  • Perform minor housekeeping duties in the administrative center
  • Scan all Notice of Decisions for site
  • Prepare and maintain staff ID badges/key check out system
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new staff, including training for new sites in CAP
  • Follows up on facilities requests such as building needs regarding maintenance, bidding for grounds needs, scheduling regular building upkeep, contacting contractors for environmental needs.

Qualifications


Qualifications

  • Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college with six months to one year related experience and/or training; Prefer Bachelor degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Option: Bachelor's degree in related field with direct care experience or internship in Human Services.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, job descriptions, business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, person served, vendors, and the general public.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Learning Management Software; Database software; Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
