IT Services and Support Manager Overview
The IT Service and Support Manager is responsible for leading support technicians and specialists teams of 3-5. They will be managing the delivery of end-user support services, including day-to-day IT operations, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and providing team training/ongoing coaching. This manager will have a passion for customer service, a focus on mentorship, experience leading operations, and ITIL/ITSM experience. You will provide a superior level of support to users across the organization (across two campuses, a 15-minute commute from one another) and will report to the CIO. Daily tasks include service delivery (incident, problem, change, requests), security operations, solutions delivery, and troubleshooting complex problems. The position requires close work with others in the department to ensure a secure, robust, reliable infrastructure and services. You will be the operational expert for project delivery and continuous service improvement.
IT Services and Support Manager Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Facilitate technology solutions and services for end-users across the organization
- Manage a team of 3 IT support technicians
- Stay up to date in professional, technical, and industry standards, for continuous improvement of technical service operations, policies, and critical processes
- Oversight of IT installation, troubleshooting, repair/maintenance, and inventory of computers, mobile devices, printers, hardware, and software for the organization
- Work closely with other IT team members, vendors, and departments
- Develop, direct, review, and assist in the creation of IT training documentation, tip sheets, policies/procedures, etc.
- Asset lifecycle management, record keeping, reporting, and support
IT Skills Required
- IT Service Management expertise, utilizing ITIL best practices
- Expertise in JAMF
- Expertise in Apple products
- Network, Security, & Telecommunications experience
- Operations experience within large IT department or enterprise-level organization
- Front-line IT staff management (Help desk/technical support management preferred)
- Continuous Improvement initiative implementation
- Strong troubleshooting experience (hardware, software, networks, etc.)
Additional Requirements
- Leadership, coaching, & management; 5 years required
- Associates or Bachelors in IT, Management, or related field preferred
- Must possess valid Driver's license (driving between campuses is required once a week)
- Certifications preferred such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , ITIL, ITSM, etc.
- Must be available to work standard business hours
- Perform physical activity that requires considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials and equipment.

Pay Rate
- Starting at $80k DOE
