Non Captive Licensed Health Insurance Agent

Are you great with picking up the phone, motivated, confident, and have a passion for sales? If so, this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for! Balance Staffing is currently hiring Remote Licensed Health Insurance Agent to help support a variety of states for Annual Enrollment Period.

What does the role entail?

• Answering a high amount of inbound calls from new and current clients - selling Medicare products through specified carrier

• Assisting customers with selecting a plan

• Answering customer questions

• Building and maintaining customer relationships

• Keeping records confidential

• Direct Hire for Seasonal position ending on December 7, 2022 with opportunity to be permanent based on performance.

Requirements:

• Active Health Insurance License (Must have resident license in the state you are currently living in)
• Ability to work full time (40 hours a week, 5 days a week)
• Open availability between hours of operation is required (HOOPS: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM Eastern Standard Time)
• Willing to work weekend shifts as needed as it may be required to work overtime on weekends during the peak weeks
• Quiet & Professional Workplace
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable internet connection (Must meet minimum of 15 download, 5 upload)
• Basic Computer Knowledge/Skills (candidates will need to complete a computer literacy test as part of our application process)
• Pass a background check

Perks:

• $20 per hour commission based on per enrollment, per sale
• ( $1.00 if fluently bilingual in both English and Spanish - will need to pass a bilingual test)
• POSITION IS NOT CAPTIVE - you are allowed to work with other carriers
• Work from home
• 5 weeks of paid training (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time)
• Equipment provided
• Opportunity to work overtime in the peak weeks of AEP
• Eligible for permanent position based on performance
