Summary
Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Laborer to join our team. The Laborer activities are coordinated with the Carpenter Foreman, Project Manager and/or the Superintendent to maintain productivity of the jobsite.
Essential Functions
- Performs a variety of tasks to maintain the productivity of the job site. Tasks can include:
- Manual labor including but not limited to job site cleaning and maintenance
- Stocking and moving of job site material
- Works daily with brooms, wheelbarrows and small hand tools
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma preferred and on-the-job training required.
- Minimum 1 years or more of field or labor experience on a commercial construction site.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
- Must be able to read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of truck, tools and equipment, and methods and procedures.
- Understands safety rules and tool / equipment instructions.
