Primary purpose of the position
As a key contributor within the Shared Services Administration team, the Organizational Change Program Analyst will provide support in enabling execution of the organizational change program required to successfully deliver on the transformation currently underway within the Global Shared Services Teams and in projects aligned to the GSS strategic roadmap.
As the pace of change continues to escalate, the ability of the Shared Services Teams to enable new services and improve the delivery of existing services will be critical to efficiently and effectively support the global growth of Ball. This position will support the Change Management Leader in planning for organizational change activities, and in driving execution of that plan. This position will require interaction and collaboration with key stakeholders and project teams, as well as external functions such as talent development and communications.
Essential Responsible Areas:
Support the Change Management Leader in executing the strategy for organizational change that encompasses multiple dimensions: execution of supporting functions (e.g., talent development, communications), risk management, leadership alignment, communications governance, and overall sustainment of transformation objectives.- Support the Change Management Leader in managing a governance process for organizational change activities, to include oversight of individual project activities (e.g., communications), and establishment of associated key messages that tie to the broader strategic roadmap.
- Provide support for stakeholder identification and management of individual transformation initiatives, assuring that objectives are understood, workforce impacts are managed, commitment of leadership is sustained, and facilitate mechanisms for feedback that can support continuous improvement to the overall change program.
- Understand the unique culture of Ball and support integration of that culture into each of the activities planned within the program. Recognize the value that senior leadership places on core cultural alignment, diversity and inclusiveness, and valuing of our employees, and understand the alignment of those values with the behaviours expected within the change program.
- Assist in executing the mechanisms to sustain change in each project, such as measurement of benefits, employee engagement, and on-going improvement planning that is driven by feedback from constituents and stakeholders.
- Curate communications and content (listen and translate change impacts into simplified user content)
- Assist in documenting the design of complex change programs that use multiple communication channels and multiple behavioural change messages to drive change outcomes to support major implementations
- Assist in documenting and supporting the execution of training plans, including training needs assessments, role identification and mapping, developing training outlines
Education Qualification:
- 2 years of organizational change management experience with global delivery responsibilities preferred.
- Knowledge and application of relevant industry frameworks for change management.
- Proven track record in change management execution.
Skills:
- Understand how organizations and their people go through a change and the change process
- Familiar with change management methodologies, (i.e., Prosci ADKAR model or other change management frameworks) and associated tools; professional organizational change management certification is a plus (e.g., Prosci, CCMP or similar)
- Show excellent organizational skills
- Exhibit strong presentation skills (crafting and delivering presentations)
- Communicate effectively with key business stakeholders, as well as internal delivery teams
- Understand organizational structures to influence change
- Offer strong technical writing ability
- Develop training videos (content authoring tools and video editing software)
- Demonstrate ability to balance competing requirements and interests, keep focused on top priorities, and find ways to achieve win-win or obtain acceptance/consensus for best compromise
