Job Summary
The Field Operations Associate position will be a member of our ‘Strike Force’ team within BallerTV’s Operations/Event department. The Strike Force team’s mission is to have its members deliver top notch execution at BallerTV’s high-profile livestreamed events. Execution involves successfully filming all games with BallerTV’s automated capture technology with a high degree of quality and consistency. It also involves establishing on-site brand presence through signage and other distributed marketing materials.
Members of this elite strike force team will consistently be out on the road at events in different cities across the country. Weekly travel commitments will usually fall between the Wed/Thur to Sun/Mon time period depending on the event assignment. The Field Operations Associate will be expected to be available to travel a minimum of 5 of every 6 weekends in a row with weekly off-time occurring early in each work week.
Essential Functions

Lead the on-site execution team at BallerTV-covered youth sporting events. Execution involves managing other site leads, setting up BallerTV automated filming equipment & software, monitoring livestream videos, working with scorekeepers, distributing marketing materials, and interacting with BallerTV customers.
Communicate and collaborate with other BallerTV teams across Planning, Logistics, Event Monitoring Support, Training, Ops Excellence etc to ensure event success.
Audit certain BallerTV events to assess overall quality, adherence to standards, and to observe and review other staff at the event
Conduct in-person event execution training for new BallerTV site leads
Visit youth sporting venues to test internet speeds and scout venue layouts - writing event recap reports that include pictures, screenshots, feedback on staff, product, internet, & other learnings
Basic Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience managing people in a leadership role
Preferred Qualifications
- A detail and process-oriented individual with a high bar for what great event execution looks like
- A hustler who’s willing to roll up his/her sleeves and do whatever it takes to make each event a success. You’ll need endurance as you’ll be on your feet and moving at every event all day long
- A creative problem-solver who keeps calm under pressure
- A combination of strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to switch between big picture strategic thinking and tactical execution.
- A results-oriented, holding yourself and others accountable, approach
- Comfort with ambiguity and change. A self-starter that thrives in an environment where all the information is not necessarily always available
- Experience working at live events or in event production is certainly a plus!

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

This position spends most of her/his time sitting or standing in an office or facility
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel - up to 75% of the time
