Description
Responsible for providing extraordinary customer service by assisting guests in transporting their luggage.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for greeting and escorting guests to rooms and suites using resort service standards.
- Visually inspects rooms and reports room deficiencies immediately such as
non-working telephones, missing towels, etc.
- Points out room and suite features and directory for reference to guests.
- Retrieves or carry guest’s items from/to cars, busses, vans and carts or onto a bell cart to transport items throughout hotel to designated suite.
- Reads and matches luggage tags, writes claim tickets and detaches portion to give to guests.
- Navigates bell carts through public areas, guest suite corridors and elevators.
- Organizes and stores luggage as necessary in designated area.
- Provides information to guests about the local area and points of interest.
- Provides directions to guests.
- Provides information to guests about the hotel and its amenities.
- Drives guest vehicles occasionally as part of job requirements.
- Complies with the company’s recycling program standards.
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations
- Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests
- Follows all relevant policies and procedures

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must be outgoing, friendly and have a positive attitude.
- Must have good manners and be able to handle pressure (peak periods).
- Must be cooperative and be able to handle instructions.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
- Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
