What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attendant - Valet position at Bally's?
MAJOR FOCUS:
Responsible for providing extraordinary customer service, parking and delivering customers’ vehicles in an extremely professional manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Parks customers’ vehicles and retrieves and delivers vehicles upon guests’ departures.
- Handles guests’ belongings, luggage, equipment, clothing, and vehicles with care and respect.
- Provides a seamless arrival and departure for all guests.
- Transports hotel guests in hotel shuttle safely and efficiently.
- Assists elderly and disabled patrons of the hotel as needed.
- Answers all guest questions and provides directions as needed.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge about the hotel, its amenities and the local area.
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
- Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
- Complies with the company’s recycling program standards.
- Drives guest vehicles as part of job responsibilities
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must be able to operate all types of passenger vehicles with standard or automatic transmission.
- Familiarity with handicapped vehicles and equipment is preferred.
- Must be outgoing, friendly and have a positive attitude.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
- Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English

Accountable to: Bell Captain, Hotel Operations Manager, Hotel Operations Director
