Job Description:
Ballymore Safety Products is seeking immediate hire of a full time Regional Safety Solutions Specialist. This individual will be responsible for representing Ballymore by developing trusted advisor relationships with customer’s and prospects. Provide innovative solutions to safety and productivity issues that are challenging businesses. Ballymore is looking for a team player willing to lead the way for the Northeast(Phila) or Midwest( Chicagoland) on safety solutions as well as be a part of the company’s growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Ergonomic Assessments
o Identify risks while estimating impact of proposed solutions for customer
o Use Ergonomic assessment tools including the ErgoValuator to help customer’s identify high risk tasks and solutions to reduce the risk.
- Work with the Ballymore’s team to develop new products and markets for existing products
o Identify opportunities / new markets for existing products and help develop sell sheets that will present a meaningful business case for selecting our solution.
- Develop new customer relationships
o Conduct research and observations to identify companies that are likely to have significant Manual Material Handing issues.
o Use web resources and networking to identify key contacts inside prospect companies.
o Help customer’s identify safety issues and advise on products to implement, modify, or create to solve needs
o Actively participate in trade shows to develop leads
o Create short and long term plans for business growth
o Implement measurable pilot program at a customer location/s
o Oversee new products roll out within customer’s organization
o Manage service / maintenance relationships to help customer’s maintain the desired up time
Required Experience:
Experience Requirements:

3-5 years experience working in a safety leadership / consulting / trusted advisor role to safety leaders in Fortune 1000 companies.

Associate Safety Professional, ASP - or demonstration of progress toward the ASP certification. (ASP study in progress or GSP)

Ergonomic assessment skills and familiarity with recognized assessment tools. (NIOSH lifting Equation, Liberty Mutual Material Handling tables, REBA, RULA, etc)

BS in Safety, Risk Management, or Engineering background desirable
Skills & Qualifications:

Identify solutions that can be integrated into development of a customers production process

Outgoing / Energetic / Self starter

Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with the leadership team

Excellent problem solving, networking, and communication skills

Travel is required up to 50% travel depending on prospect and customer geography

Balance of time spent not traveling at the company office for a Northeast based position.
