Responsibilities:
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs.
- Seeks business development opportunities by identifying targeted prospects and fostering a referral network.
- Meets and communicates with key prospects and clients to negotiate and close deals.
- Communicate and serve as a liaison between new customers and customer service for their continued contact.
- Delivers sales presentations to key clients in possible coordination with other sales representatives and marketing activities.
- Employs strong listening skills as the key to understanding customer needs and creating and maintaining business relationships.
- Portrays an image consistent with honoring and protecting Bank-A-Count’s brand and reputation, which is centered on reserved professionalism and long-term relationships.
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals within the assigned territory.
- Conducts sales forecasting activities with Marketing Director and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Represents company to promote products at trade association meetings.
- Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Assists customer service, marketing team and other departments within organization to prepare support materials as needed.
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Works with marketing to identify, and offer suggested responses to, both threats and opportunities created for the company by changes in competitors, customers, suppliers, channels and so on.
Skills:
- Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Ability to effectively communicate product/service features and benefits to potential customers
- Experience in market research and understanding customer behavior trends
- Familiarity with warm calling and telemarketing techniques to engage prospects
- Proficiency in using sales software to manage leads, track progress, and analyze data
- Strong business development acumen with a strategic mindset for identifying growth opportunities
- Previous experience in inside sales or a similar role is preferred
