    The Don McDonald Group is currently hiring for the following position.

    Specific Job Description:

    The Relationship Manager/Planning Analyst primarily focused on the Relationship Management role by managing client relationships as determined by the team and in accordance with the client service model, deepening relationships through client profiling, goal identification and collaboration through the firm.  This position is also responsible for generating referrals growing the team’s assets organically.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Contacting clients proactively and conduct client reviews in accordance with the team’s client service model, which may include client events, seminars and individual social outings
    • Building rapport with clients and getting to know them on a personal level, beyond their investments and strive to deepen those relationships through ongoing profiling and identification of clients’ needs
    • Building relationships with clients’ external business professionals
    • Serving as the team’s insurance specialist, uncovering opportunities and making insurance and annuity decisions and recommendation with clients by utilizing own expertise as well as leveraging and partnering with our internal specialist and product experts
    • Serving as the team’s social security expert
    • Sourcing prospective clients, capitalizing on referrals and assessing client’s needs
    • Delivering highly customized solutions and through collaboration with the team and the firm, delivering the full resources of Bank of America Merrill Lynch

    Qualifications:

    • Either Series 7 and 66 licenses or Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses
    • All state licenses in support of FA or FA Team’s client base
    • All product licenses in support of FA or FA Team’s client base
    • Obtain and/or maintain at least one firm approved designation
    • Safe Act Registered
    • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
    • Proven ability to assess needs of clients and recommend appropriate solutions/interventions
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively on a team and with key partners
    • Proven ability to listen  and probe for clarity and understanding
    • Goal and results oriented
    • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Proven ability to engage with and influence others
    • Strong follow-through skills
    • Computer/technical literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
    • Experience working in a client relations / relationship management role in the Financial Services industry
    • Proficiency in using SalesForce/ Client Relationship Manager Tool
    • Strong understanding of the Financial Advisor role

    General Job Description:

    The Analyst (Registered) is a fully paid or firm paid (exception only), salaried, exempt position on the Financial Advisor Team to further develop and service their client base. The Analyst is responsible for implementing and executing the Optimal Practice Model (OPM) in their specific functional role (i.e. Business Development, Business Management, Relationship Management or Investments).  Specific accountabilities for the role may vary depending on the team’s practice. Performance is measured by the FA or FA team, along with OMT, through specific goals, metrics, and behavior related to the execution of the OPM function.  The Analyst (Non Registered) is a non-exempt position for a non -licensed hire lacking a license and/or designation, until fully licensed and designation achieved. The Analyst (Registered) is a non-exempt position for licensed employees that are in progress of completing their designation in 12-months.

    Analyst - Relationship Management (Exempt)

    Define and deliver consistent ongoing communication and engagement plan

    Discuss fees charged and rationale regularly, and review platform and pricing on an ongoing basis

    Deepen client relationships through ongoing profiling and identification of client needs, by creating a robust electronic profile form where information is captured and proactively updated on a regular basis

    Plan and hold appreciation events and/or seminars and individual social outings to various client segments, and invite clients based on their needs/interests.

    Leverage partners/specialists to identify opportunities with existing clients reviewing client’s situation with specialists on a regular basis

    Maintain documentation of all client interactions in Salesforce, making full use of notes, assigned follow-ups, etc.
