What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mainframe Security Administrator position at Bank of America?
Job Description:
The Security Team Administrator will be responsible for coordinating governance activities within the mainframe security team. Such an individual should have the ability to coordinate an administrative workload, good communication skills, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work within a team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who will "own" a subset of our teams application profiles (AITs) and will thereby be responsible for ensuring that the associated governance activities are completed in a timely manner. This individual will manage our intake portal and that will require coordination with other staff members. The individual will also be responsible for change management activities and will coordinate some security projects.
The Administrator will document and “proceduralize” tasks that can be made more turn-key for the future Administrator position by performing the tasks themselves. As these tasks become well-documented and more plentiful, we will seek the Administrator role to take over the performance of these tasks. The
Administrator will also document the volume and likely duration of these tasks. These tasks will include:
- Documentation
- Change Management
- Sustainability
- Cyclical Governance
- Incoming Alerts
- Risk Management
- Audits
- Jira (Team Task Management controls)
- Role Management
- Intake
- Knowledge of Mainframe and Mainframe Information Security is a very high plus.
