POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. This role ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. These individuals possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. The role requires researching new tools and technologies to keep our software development ecosystem cutting edge by embracing modern development methods. This position requires the candidate to work closely with Business and System Analyst team to understand the system requirements and translate them into low-level design and develop all or part of complex solutions, develop software from established requirement, plan and coordinate work with team, create prototypes to offer insights on the feasibility of systems design.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Web Application Development using .NET Framework, using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Object Oriented Technologies, Node.js.
- Expert knowledge with Handlebar/ AngularJS/ React, JavaScript, jQuery, client-side technologies.
- 5 years of experience building Restful web services using WCF and WebAPI.
- Experience in designing and developing prototypes and creating proofs of concepts (POCs) for evaluating new technologies, approaches to be implemented in the platform.
- Must understand the structure and logic of Object-Oriented programming.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience in Core Java, developing J2EE Applications involving JSP and Servlets.
- Experience with IDE like Eclipse or NetBeans or IntelliJ. App Server experience in deploying J2EE applications using WebSphere or Tomcat or Apache.
- Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) using MS-Visio or any other software design drawing tools.
- Self-motivated and demonstrates a willingness to accept additional responsibilities and projects.
- Capable of quickly learning new technical skills.
- Strong experience in designing frameworks for enterprise level applications.
- Experience in financial domain.
