Job Description:
Forecasting, Reporting, Analytics and Controls (FRAC)is the central utility of the Technology and Operations Finance organization part of Global Technology & Operations Finance (GTOF). The primary focus of the team is to provide strong financial support for the day-to-day finance activities to the Global Technology and Global Operations organizations. Key priorities are P&L planning, forecasting and month-end analysis with reporting. Responsible for more complex finance activities involving implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a business unit or associate area. Supports achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects with others within the unit and with partners.
You will gain experience and exposure across the the Finance organization while improving and developing financial/business acumen, attention to detail, analytical and strategic thinking, planning, and forecasting, leadership, communication, and relationship management. Involved in strategic investment decisions driving the future of Bank of America.
The Global Information Security (GIS) Forecasting, Reporting, Analytics & Controls (FRAC) team overall is responsible for providing reporting, control oversight and analytical support to the GIS organization. The Senior Financial Analyst in this role will have ongoing responsibilities that will potentially include a combination of building and producing reporting, forecasting expense, preparing forecast review decks in partnership with BFO partners, consolidating and submitting monthly estimate and results commentary with a focus on vendor expense accrual accounting, financial control oversight responsibilities and performing ad-hoc analysis as needed. The ideal candidate will have a combination of personnel and technology vendor expense, including understanding and analysis of vendor contracts.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
2 years’ experience in a BAC finance or analytical role or 4 years outside BAC, or 5 years outside of financial services industry
Possess intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn the businesses we support
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-pace environment and manage multiple competing priorities
Strong attention to detail and self-motivated to achieve personal standards of excellence
Ability to provide process improvements ideas to increase the overall efficiency, effectiveness and consistency of procedures while managing to lower risk
Ability to see how technology can be leveraged to drive efficiency
Strong communication, organization, presentation and analytical skills
