The BCT's Credit Administration Manager position may be a good fit. You'll be a key member of the leadership team within the Credit/Lending Areas. You'll lead a team of credit analysts in underwriting commercial loan requests and ensure that the underwriting is accurate, timely, and identifies the risks within transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Leads staff of credit analysts and communicates around objectives and goals, department operating status and employee input to improve department performance.
  • Complete underwriting on complex loan transactions.
  • Collaborate with lending team to identify gaps in understanding financial performance and assist in developing questions directed toward borrower/prospect to enhance understanding.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of the Bank’s Loan Policy and advises if loan request does not conform.
  • Maintain up-to-date, well-organized documentation and files.
  • Identify current or potential problems regarding the assessment of credit risk.
  • Participate in loan committee meetings and, at times, record the minutes of the meeting.
  • At times, assist with special loan programs (e.g. SBA Payroll Protection Program “PPP”) and other forms of indirect credit risk (e.g. ACH and Remote Deposit Capture) as necessary.
  • Assists Senior Credit Officer in providing regular reporting to Executive Management and the Board of Directors regarding the loan portfolio.

  • Ability to interact (in person, phone, and electronic communication) with the public well and to deal effectively with their questions or problems.
  • Knows the Bank’s products and services thoroughly and seeks out opportunities to explain, promote, or sell products/services.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees and officials in other departments

  • Maintains neat and orderly work area and ensures that all negotiable and confidential records (physical and digital) are properly secured at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Four-year college degree; at least 5 years of broad banking experience, specifically with regard to commercial lending and credit administration
