Position Overview:
Responsible for the preparation, development, and analysis of financial information to ensure management has the information necessary to make well-informed decisions for the Bank. This position is hybrid friendly within the WI and IL region and reports to the SVP/CFO.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning
- Oversee and review the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for management committee and Board of Director meetings.
- Creation of new management reports and enhancements to existing reports.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare liquidity and interest rate risk models and analyze results.
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor the Bank's liquidity position, risk levels, deposit trends, and earnings through reporting and analysis.
- Provide recommendations and develop procedures to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Reporting & Analysis
- Review and analyze results and oversee the preparation of reports to communicate findings relating to the quarterly asset-liability modeling.
- Working with the Financial Analyst, conceptualize and create ad-hoc analysis, projects, and reports to assist in making appropriate business decisions and improvements where necessary.
- Solve problems in varied situations requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation using knowledge and skills, general standards and past practices.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Five years of finance, financial analysis and financial reporting, to include an emphasis in banking. Solid working knowledge of financial analysis and reporting concepts, practices and procedures and the ability to use the knowledge in varied situations. Strong attention to detail. Proficient in the use of Microsoft products, including Word, Outlook and Excel, and related industry applications.
Preferred: Experience in budgeting, liquidity and interest rate modeling.
