RV Warranty Clerk/Administrator
Job Description:
If you have an eye for detail, strong phone and electronic communication skills, and a drive to succeed, this Warranty Administrator position may be a perfect fit for you! An RV Warranty Administrator is responsible for initiating, processing, and claiming RV warranty claims initiated by our Service Department. This role would include both electronic and phone communication with RV Manufacturers to ensure work performed is covered and paid by warranty, as well as communication and direct work with our Service Department to ensure all required information is gathered and promptly submitted to manufacturers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain records of pending and completed claims
- Ensure all repair documents are complete for warranty claims
- Direct follow-up on all warranty receivables to ensure payment in timely manner
- Stay up-to-date on Manufacturer warranty specifics
- Responsible for the prompt and accurate submission of warranty claims and the resulting collection of all warranty revenues.
- Have a complete understanding with and follow up all manufacturer warranty and vendor company policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with the manufacturers designated warranty representatives.
- Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy and legibility according to the applicable policies and procedure manuals.
- Check each repair order against the vehicles service history to avoid making duplicate claims.
- Return improperly completed repair orders to the person originating the document for correction and/or completion as necessary.
- Determine and enter the applicable labor operation codes, failure codes and/or other administrative data required and enter them on the repair orders.
- Monitor the use of special warranty programs for diagnosis time, straight time repairs, etc. for abuse service, sales and/or technical staff.
- Flag the appropriate technicians for the hours earned on the operations they performed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior RV or Automotive experience is desired.
- Ability to multitask and perform in a timely and efficient manner.
- Dependable with strong work ethic is a must.
- Good customer service skills
- Reliable and strong work ethic
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
