What are the responsibilities and job description for the TS Operation Support Representative position at BankUnited?
SUMMARY: This position focuses on the onboarding of new Treasury Solutions clients and the maintenance of existing clients with regards to the full range of Treasury Solutions services. This position works with the management team to make sure that all department service levels are met on a daily / weekly basis. The Treasury Solutions Operations Associate also reviews daily reports and helps to communicate errors to the Branch Network, Management and clients, if necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Maintains department work-flow.
- Advises Operations Manager of deviations from standard operating procedure and implements corrective action.
- Reviews the business unit's operating procedures, making modifications to streamline processes and minimize expenses. Advises Manager of discrepancies found with the Bank's policies, procedures or forms as they relate to the business unit. Develops and documents department procedures as needed.
- Resolves complaints and answers questions from internal customers / business partners regarding services and procedures. Handles escalated problems, as needed.
- Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.
- Actively looks for ways to assist staff and internal customers / business partners.
- Prepares reports for management.
- Performs special projects, as assigned by Operations Manager.
- Performs quality or risk assessments of existing Treasury Solutions clients.
- Handles branch queries, special requests or assist in problem resolution.
- Supports TSOs and Analysts as necessary.
- Completes various Treasury Solutions account set ups.
- Completes various Treasury Solutions account maintenance activities.
- Reviews daily reports, communicating errors as necessary.
- Takes corrective action on errors identified on new account reports or during Quality Control Reviews.
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
EDUCATION
HS Diploma required Associate's Degree preferred Bachelor's Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Treasury Management/Solutions operations and online banking support, advanced computer skills and a proven track record of providing excellent customer service required
