Position Overview
Banner Defense is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Missile Defense System Architecture Trades.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Coordinate and perform Missile Defense Architecture Trade Studies, analyzing candidate architecture options for cost, performance, schedule, and down-selecting options based on results. Prepare and deliver briefings and supporting data in support of an Architecture Requirements Package (ARP).
- Represent the MDA Advanced Architecture Design Architecture Trades Division in briefings and formal handoff reviews involving architecture design efforts.
- Support development of processes and procedures regarding efforts to provide, trade, and present architecture solutions in support of closure of Missile Defense System capability gaps.
- Coordinate with FFRDCs and UARC partners on architecture trade study data and results through working group discussion.
- Document findings, assumptions, and tools used in trade study efforts.
- Provide regular input in support of government leadership to reports and weekly charts involving task status, action item tracking, risks, and schedule.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
- 3 years of relevant experience working on missile defense-related or other DoD program / project
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- MATLAB Programming Language
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Applications
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Working knowledge of CAMEO and/or Benchmark modeling systems or other MBSE software
