Working Hours: 11pm til 7 am
Summary:
This position is responsible for operating all Powerhouse equipment and related distribution equipment to ensure a constant flow of utilities to the facilities.
Other information:
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE: Four years experience in plant operations with a minimum of six months experience as a boiler operator. Additional experience with machinery repair and control systems preferred. Familiar with safety procedures and training in safe operation of powerhouse and related distribution equipment. Ability to troubleshoot, repair and operate all powerhouse equipment to ensure a constant flow of utilities to the facilities. Ability to provide legible, detailed and accurate information on work orders/preventative maintenance forms.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, BONDING: Arkansas High Pressure Boiler Operator License obtained within seven (7) months of employment.
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Must at times work in temperatures ranging from below zero to 140°F. For extended periods, must routinely bend, stoop, squat, lift and manipulate, push, pull, stand, walk, climb and use hand and power tools. May be exposed to various stored energy, some of which could be lethal, such as electrical, mechanical, steam and air. Is sometimes exposed to hazards such as chemicals, acids and gases with protective equipment provided. Must work in a noisy environment.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
